That puts the highlighted searches roughly 38 to 48 minutes before discovery, not a handful of minutes. The New York Post's own article body said "less than 40 minutes"; the viral headline said "minutes."

• Largest cash deposit near the death: Chase production records produced to the FBI for case name TOVA NOEL / MICHAEL THOMAS include a CASH IN TICKET with posting date 30-Jul-19 and amount $5,000.00. Epstein died Aug. 10, 2019, so that deposit was about 11 days earlier (outlets often round to "10 days" or "days before"). Clip from the Chase production:

• Broader cash pattern: Multiple news outlets reviewing the DOJ dump (New York Post, CNN, NBC News, ABC News) report Chase flagged a series of cash deposits for Noel running from April 2018 through July 2019, with the $5,000 entry as the largest. Post reporting also described multiple cash deposits in later statements and a bank suspicious-activity report to the FBI in November 2019. Those cash flows began well before Epstein was jailed at MCC (July 2019).
• No proven bribe in the public record reviewed here: ABC News reported that grand-jury materials released in the DOJ files said the FBI examined Noel's bank records and found no evidence of a bribe. After House Oversight questioning in 2026, members said Noel denied the transfers related to Epstein.
