Footage shot on January 6th, 2021, by Alexandra Pelosi (Nancy Pelosi’s daughter) for an HBO documentary has been released by the House Administration oversight subcommittee. In the video Nancy Pelosi is speaking with her Chief of Staff Terri McCullough about the unfolding protests at the capitol. She states clearly:
I take responsibility for not having them just prepare for more.
In a report released Dec. 21, 2022, authored by House Judiciary Committee, the Democratic leadership was concerned about public opinion of having the National Guard present that day at the capitol.
