Donald Trump published a book titled “Letters to Trump”, containing a number of letters written to him by celebrities. One of the letters featured was written by Oprah Winfrey, dated Jan 11, 2000. The letter’s content read:
I have to tell you, your comments made me a little weepy. It’s one thing to try and live a life of integrity – still another to have people like yourself notice. Thank You, Oprah. Too bad we’re not running for office, what A TEAM!
Oprah appeared on CBS Mornings to discuss this letter, admitted to writing it, and said that her thoughts regarding a Trump - Oprah ticket has changed. The video clip is below.
