A sudden string of stories about gas stoves has saturated the new cycle on cable and online news sources, as well as, social media by prominent Liberal politicians. They claim links to childhood cancer and AOC even tweeted it caused ‘reduced cognitive performance’. Yesterday a CNN host was reprimanded live on air when she was discussing a ban on gas stoves in new builds and asked her guest if ‘is that about fossil fuels or is it about… sorry I am getting in trouble’. Her guest then says ‘short answer, it is about climate change’. Others have pointed out that the sudden vocal proponents of this potential ban on gas stoves, such as AOC, have them in their own kitchens according to images and video they have posted on social media.
