According to the ongoing Twitter Files being released under Elon Musk. The FBI not only worked with Twitter employees to suppress information before the election but granted Twitter employees temporary security clearance. Twitter setup a private, one-way communication channel directly from the government to Twitter that included at least the FBI and perhaps the CIA and NSA.
