On November 08, 2022 the website Nixle.us, which is used by thousands of government agencies to distribute alerts to citizens, has posted a copy of the announcement from the West Windsor Police Department that says:
Voting machines are currently down, vote on a standard ballot
It goes on to say:
WEST WINDSOR RESIDENTS: Due to a Mercer County-wide system outage, all voting machines are currently down in each district across the County.
Voters can still report to their respective polling locations and vote on a standard ballot and insert their ballot into the emergency slot in the machine.
The link to the nixle.us post is below.
We also found that the official West Windsor Mercer County New Jersey Police Department website links to the nixle.us posting. Their website is viewable at: https://www.westwindsornj.org/police/.
This messaging was also found on a Facebook page marked as from the West Windsor Police Department, viewable at https://www.facebook.com/WWPolice/.
This messaging was also triplicated on twitter on an account @westwindsorpd, presumably the official West Windsor Police Department twitter account, at https://twitter.com/westwindsorpd/status/1589962815049187328.
